You will have a Dedicated Events Team who will work with you to make your event a success. We offer a mouth – watering 3 course menu and have 2 fully licensed bars (open until Midnight) that offer an extensive wine list, an array of beers, spirits & soft drinks.

We can provide the things you need to host a successful meeting.

Prices for meetings and conferences can vary depending upon the number if people, requirements – get in touch so we can give you an exact price.

We can provide a room for your meeting, big or small, for any sized company or team. The meeting space is yours to use! As well as the space, we offer free Wi-Fi, a projector and other amenities like Teas and Coffee (very important!)

The whole upper-floor of the building is extremely versatile. With 2 fully-stocked bars, a viewing terrace and enough space for live music or even a dance floor, you propose to us your event and our events team will make it happen.

Want to host a community day? There’s room! Want to hold your own event? Why not host it in The Terrace Bar? The upper-floor of LSC can hold one big event, or 3 small individual ones. It really is up to you!

Events FAQs

Can we book a date provisionally?

Yes, you can!  We will provisionally hold the date for 2 weeks; within that time, you will receive a proposal with costings.  

When does our event become fully confirmed?

Once you have told us you would like to go ahead, we will send you a contract via DocuSign for you to read through, sign and return back to us.  Once this has been received, you will be required to pay the deposit and only then will your event be fully confirmed.

How much deposit is required?
A non-refundable 50% room hire deposit will be required.  The amount will be shown on your contract along with the outstanding balance.  Please note that this is a non-refundable deposit.
*Full payment will be required 4 weeks prior to your event along with final numbers. 
When do we finalise guest numbers and menu choices?

This will be required 4 weeks prior to your event.  We will require any dietary and allergy requirements in order for us to accommodate all guests.

What happens if we cancel?
If you cancel within 12 to 6 months’ notice the deposit paid will be retained and no cancellation fee will be required.
*Should you cancel your event 3 weeks before, we reserve the right to retain any monies paid.
Can we bring in our own suppliers?
Yes you can.  We will inform you of when they can have access to the function rooms.  The times we stipulate will be the times they will be allowed in.  
*We will require their details, what they will be providing and a copy of their Public Liability Insurance, PATT Testing certificate, Food Hygiene Certificate, whichever is relevant to them.
Do you offer External Catering?
Yes we do.  This will be classed as a Dry Hire Event and will incur a Refundable damage waiver of £150.00, which will be included in the balance, payable 4 weeks before the event.
*All external caterers will be required to produce their Food & Hygiene Certificate & Food Standard Rating.
*You, as the organiser, will be required to sign a food waiver form.
Do you have disabled facilities?
es, we do.  All our rooms have full disabled access and have disabled toilets.  
*We also have a lift that anyone with a disability or parents with small children can use.
*Do advise us if any of your guests have any additional needs and we will be happy to assist in any way.

 

Is there a cut off time for our event?
Our licence for all events is until Midnight with last orders being 11.30pm.  All events will be required to stop at least 5 mins before Midnight with all guests out of the premises by 12.30am.
*Music, whether a 3-piece band or DJ, must adhere to the approved sound meter reading, due to the centre being close to residential areas.
